Namaste and welcome to Kathmandu, the eaves of the pagodas, the smells from the street stalls and the vibrant people all combine to make Kathmandu a truly intoxicating and evocative city.
On arrival, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 02 Kathmandu
This morning, proceed to Bhaktapur, a ninth-century town in the Kathmandu Valley. Attend a Nepalese cooking class in a local home. Then, visit Pashupatinath Temple, a cremation site for Hindus. Continue to Boudhanath, home to one the world’s largest Buddhist shrines.

Day 03 Kathmandu – Bharatpur – Chitwan
1 hr (32 km)
We will be transferred to airport to board our flight to Bharatpur, and driven to Chitwan, the oldest of the country’s national parks.
Wildlife in the Royal Chitwan National Park includes the Great Indian one-horned Rhinoceros, spotted deer, hog deer, Sambar and barking deer as well as a wide variety of birdlife – some 450 species have been recorded. There is also a chance of spotting the leopard, sloth bear, gaur (the largest of wild Asian cattle) and the majestic, highly endangered Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 04 – 05 Chitwan
During these two days we will track one-horned rhinos through the jungle with an expert naturalist, perhaps even stealing a rare glimpse of the elusive Bengal tiger
We will spend some time in the Tharu Village, homeland of the Tharu tribe of this region. For centuries, the Tharu have lived much closed to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world.

Day 06 Chitwan – Bharatpur – Kathmandu
We will be driven to Bharatpur airport for our flight to Kathmandu.
Post check in to our hotel, we will ride by rickshaw to Kathmandu Durbar Square where temples, palaces and golden gates combine into a magical outdoor theatre. Later we will see the House of the Living Goddess (Kumari) and stroll through the bazaar and old city. Continue to Swayambhunath, one of the most sacred shrines for Tibetan Buddhists. This evening, enjoy a lecture by a Mount Everest summiter.

Day 07 Kathmandu – Fly out
International Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Later you will be transferred to the international airport to board your onward flight to next destination.
